We have one, yes one of the uber-fancy War of the Rings collector’s edition available for sale. Word has gotten out on Board Game Geek that we have one, and we have fielded some calls and emails asking if we are willing to ship it. We are going to hold onto this one for our local customer base. We aren’t marking it up past the retail price, we just aren’t going to ship it. We ordered the two we did to give our local customers a chance at getting them…so, if you want it, come on by. First come, first served.
Update: And much like Kaiser Soze, it’s gone.

Join the forum discussion - (1) PostsWe will be attending Dundracon this President’s day weekend. The shelves will look a little bare, but the game room will be open all weekend. Our hours will be:
Friday 2/12: 10am – 7pm
Saturday 2/13: 10am – 7pm
Sunday 2/14: 10am – 5pm
Monday 2/15: 10am – 5pm (No RPGA)

Join the forum discussion - (14) PostsI’ve had a number of requests for miniatures painting events over the last couple of months. The four of us put our heads together and figured out where to fit a regular event into the schedule.
Every two weeks on Sunday afternoons, we’ll have space set up for painting. I’ll have my gear along too. The format is pretty open – we’re just going to get the event rolling and then see what you, the participants, want to do with it. Workshops? Round tables? Open painting? Painting challenges? Showcases? It’s all good.
We’re kicking things off tomorrow, January 24, at 1pm. I’ll be available for instruction and whatnot ’til 4pm, but you can keep going until 6 or so if you like. Bring whatever gear you want. At a minimum you’ll need paints, brushes, and something to paint. We’ll have power strips available for lights or hair dryers or whatever. Plenty of paper towels and cups too. See you here!

Hey all, we are holding a bit of a different event at the store today, Saturday January 23, from 5pm to 7pm.
There is a new Manga book coming out called “King of RPGs”, created by a local author named Jason Thompson. He contacted us about hosting a party, and after looking at the book, we said “heck yes!” There is even more information on his website: (http://www.kingofrpgs.com).
