EndGame is proud to once again host the Improv for Gamers workshop on Saturday, July 13, from 10am to 5pm.
As a gamer you may have heard that improv is closely tied to role-playing, especially in narrative-based games. It’s true, improv theater teaches many skills that can make your game rock: collaboration, embracing complications, and taking risks. The goal of this workshop series is to highlight those skills (and more!) as they apply to role-playing games, through improv exercises and scenework.
Level 2 Workshop
We are expanding our series with GMs in mind. Level 2 will explore story-building, pacing, and finding the beat in scenes, as well as doing advanced scenework. Important: For this workshop we ask that attendees have some prior improv experience (yes, just the Level 1 workshop or that one semester back in college counts)!

EndGame is proud to host singer/songwriter Marian Call on Sunday, June 23rd at 7pm.
We had such a good time hosting the Doubleclicks back in January we thought we try something like that again. Who is Marian Call?
From her website: Marian Call is a singer-songwriter based in Juneau, AK. She tours the U.S., Canada, and Europe much of the year. After a winter at home, she has released a new live album, and in 2013 she will tour all across the American West, up to British Columbia, and the Eastern Seaboard.
There are no tickets for this event but your donation of $10-15 is appreciated (or you can buy one of her CD’s).
Please note that the upstairs gaming space will be closed at 5:00pm to allow us to set up for this event.

Dragon’s Maze Game Day
Saturday, May 25th and Sunday, May 26th. Standard constructed, Regular Rules Enforcement Level. $10 entry fee. Signups at 10am, rounds begin at 11am.
All participants receive an exclusive Trostani’s Summoner full-art promo card (while supplies last). The Top 8 players each receive an exclusive Melek, Izzet Paragon full-art foil promo card. The cards are awarded to the Top 8 players even if the tournament cuts only to the Top 4.
In addition, the first-place winner of Dragon’s Maze Game Day will receive an exclusive Playmat. Other prizes will be in store credit based on attendance.

EndGame is proud to host two Magic:the Gathering Grand Prix Tournament events this month. The Houston GPT on Sunday, May 12th at 11:00 AM, and the Las Vegas GPT on Sunday, May 19th at 11:00 AM.
$30 sealed Return to Ravnica Block (2 RTR, 2 GTC, 2 DGM packs). Signups begin at 10 am and the tournament will begin at 11am. Prizes will be in store credit awarded to the top players based on attendance. Winner receives 3 byes to the Grand Prix.

April was a busy month for us at EndGame, and though our 40K campaign took the month off, we’re back in May with another installment of the Fires of Sidonia Campaign!
Our next campaign game day will be Saturday, May 18.
This next set of games will put your armies to the test, as they battle in the harshest environment possible – space! The missions will fully embrace this deadly battlezone and there will be special rules for hard vacuum, low and zero-gravity for Game 1, and we will also be utilizing the Zone Mortalis ruleset for Game 2, which you can download here!
