FiascoCon 2012 – 1/15/12
Update 1/10/12 – 4 Seats left for both slots. (4 at 11am and 4 at 3pm)
It’s awesome when things fall into your lap, and this is one of the better ones. You see, the day before FiascoCon, we are hosting a very cool Improv workshop (that is filled up). That workshop is bringing our Steve Segedy and Jason Morningstar from Bully Pulpit out here to Oakland, and they asked: Can we do a FiascoCon while we are here. Um yes!
We will have 6 tables at 11am to 2.30pm (enough time to break for a meal in there easy) seating 4 players. A second session will start at 3pm, and run to 6.30pm. A facilitator will already be at your table. This means I have 24 total seats per session. We aren’t doing this minicon style, as we will just disperse to the different tables, pick some playsets the facilitators have provided, and play.
Make sense? Well, let’s spice this up a little. As an entrance fee, we are going to accept a donation of canned foods. To the people who bring in those most cans per session, I will place you at either Jason or Steve’s table. (How cool is that, right?)
If you have questions, concerns, or just want to sign up drop Chris H. an email
(Do please note, it’s a little crazy in store right now, and we will address sign-ups as soon as we get a breather. Thanks!)
Finally, Jason and Steve are happy to bring some of their amazing Fiasco T-Shirts. Plane carry-on/luggage restrictions make it such that we are going to ask you to pre-order it when you register for the event. Here is a bit of information on the shirts:
“The shirts feature art based on original designs by John Harper and have been lovingly screen-printed by Flytrap Studios on 100% cotton American Apparel shirts. Each shirt is a comfortable, stylish work of art!”
“The standard Fiasco t-shirt is black ink on cranberry red fabric, which results in a dark, low-contrast shirt. These are the basic men’s fine jersey short-sleeve tee, and are available in a variety of sizes. They are notoriously tight-fitting, however, so please be sure of your size requirements. See the chest measurements according to American Apparel for accurate sizing. If you need to make a substitution or have other requests, please let us know by noting it in the special instructions of your order.”
