OK, the outage is set. Forums will go down midmorning on Saturday and stay down for the smallest amount of time I can manage. My best guess is a couple of days, but it might be as long as a week. Once I get 'em back up, I'll open a bug report thread and start fixing things.

Hey Marty,

We would love to see you come down any Tues (40k/skirmish), Thurs (Fantasy) or weekend day (mixed gaming). There are usually plenty of people to get a game in with either system. You can schedule a game though it's not needed. Just come on down and enjoy the best store around.

Hi Y'allz,

Moved recently from SF to Alameda and will be trying to find time to come out on Tuesday nights and the odd Saturday.

I've got a Slaanesh themed CSM and Daemon army that I can throw down up to around 10,000 points with in 40k. I'm hoping to get some Warhammer Fantasy in but just starting out with that on... you can tell by the circular bases :)

Many of you have recently reported issues with password changes, mobile access, and profile updates. There is (theoretically) a big update to our forum software releasing within the next couple of days. Because this is a significant upgrade and nothing in IT is easy, it will probably break as soon as I install it. Here's what it means to you:

1. The forums may be offline later this week for as long as three or four days. I will give 24-hour advance notice via this thread, the home page, and Twitter.

2. It's possible that I'll need to revert to the default forum appearance ("skin") for a while. Depends on how much they've changed the style sheets.

3. You'll probably encounter new and exciting bugs. I'll pin a bug report thread post-launch and get things fixed as quickly as I can.

Thursday evenings. Current group of 1 - 3 just started meeting. Emphasis on story, not mechanics. Campaign set in Oakland where a mutagenic strain of weed is granting people with powers. This is a relatively new phenom. "District 9" exists in South Africa circa 2000. Dreseden Files-esque magic/background exists and some knowledge of such has popped up every now and then since 1980. The government is in the last stages of public denial of all things weird. Bonuses to players who with to generate characters using old 1980's version of Mutants and Masterminds. Hi all,

I have a nice oak table and chairs that needs a new home.

This is a great game table and dining table, and is in excellent condition.

It measures 48″ circle without leaves, 68″x48″ oval with leaves, and is very solid.

The legs come off obviously, since they are off in the pics.

48″ is larger than most common dining room tables, and is great for a gaming surface.

The four chairs are very solid white oak spindle backs, slightly oversized and comfortable.

The pads are not included, nor are the dog, dog toy, or my wife's foot.

I'd like $150, but will consider any offers. If the guys at the store prefer, I'll accept payment in EG gift card.

Part of me is intrigued by the idea. We live in an interesting time of progress. With the militaries HULC gear to the overall economy slashing police headcount. I can see more and more home grown vigilantes growing. Now is that scary or cool? I'm not sure.
