Avatars and images 
Keep your avatars clean. Avatar size is 50x50 pixels. If there is even the remotest possibility that it will offend somebody, don't use it. That means no Obama in crosshairs, no Sarah Palin in crosshairs, no swastikas, no Elvis flipping people off…use your common sense. 

Images in signatures are fine. Keep them to 60 pixels tall, please. Animated .gifs are also fine, but I may change my mind if they run rampant. These boards exist to facilitate discussion – that means reading as well as typing. Please avoid things that make the boards hard to read. Sig images are subject to the same content restrictions as avatars. 

Postings 
I can't believe I actually have to post this, but some people just don't get it. DON'T SPAM. This is a community gaming forum. Joining up just to spam your product/service/Web site without participating in the community will get you a deleted post, a suspended account, and a nasty email from me. If you have even the most remote fraction of a vague suspicion that your posting might be taken as spam, run it by me first. 

Please pay attention to grammar and spelling. "ur nutz lol" may be common parlance elsewhere, but it doesn't fly here. I fully admit that this guideline is arbitrary, based on my personal love of the written word. Follow it anyway.  

Be civil. Flame wars, flame-baiting, cruel sarcasm, and general rudeness are all good ways to lose your account. 

You may offer items for trade - NOT for sale. Please limit your postings to gaming-related trades. I recommend conducting your trades via PM for your own privacy. 

You may offer services that EndGame does not provide. Miniatures painting is a good example. As with trading, please limit your posts to gaming-related services and negotiate your business off-line. 

For the record, EndGame does not endorse any service or trade offered on this board unless one of the store owners specifically says otherwise. Caveat emptor and all that. 

You may talk about other game stores, as long as you don't bad-mouth them or us. 

You may post events being held at other game stores, as long as they don't conflict with similar EndGame events. Please obtain my prior permission. 

You may not post anything racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise bigoted. I am very serious about this. 

Please avoid religious and political discussions. They tend to devolve into flame wars. 

No profanity, anywhere, anytime. 

Other policies may be added as new issues come up, but I think this covers the basics.
