Gamescape North of San Rafael, Great Escape Games of Sacramento, Endgame of Oakland, and Game Kastle of Santa Clara have banded together to hold a Northern California Flames of War Tournament Circuit for 2011. The events will be as follows:

January 22nd at Gamescape North – 1750 points Mid War
February 12th at Game Kastle 10 am – 1500 points Late War – run by Wyn Robertson
March 5th at Great Escape Games – 1500 points Late War – run by Dave Ripperda
April 10th at Endgame – 1750 points Mid War
May 29th at Kublacon (run by Gamescape North) – 1750 points Late War
June 11th at Game Kastle 10 am – 1750 points Late War – Run by Wyn Robertson
July 2nd at Great Escape Games – 1500 points Mid War – run by Dave Ripperda
August 21st at Endgame – 1750 points Late War
September 4th at Pacificon (run by Gamescape North) – 1750 Late War
October 8th at Game Kastle 10 am – 1750 points Mid War – Run by Chris Weber
November 5th at Great Escape Games – 1500 points Early War – run by Dave Ripperda
December 18th at Endgame – 1750 points Late War

*Each event will have a $10 entry fee to provide for prizes. Additionally, Battlefront has generously offered to provide $100 of product for each month's event, and more for the two convention events. Kublacon and Pacificon will not have an entry fee other than the convention pass fees.

* For a nominal fee, we've arranged to have GF9 create special custom objective markers for the events, one for each player who participates in each tournament. They will be gun-base sized and will have all four stores' logos and the NorCal series info on them in full color.

* Each event will count towards your overall standing in the circuit. At the end of the year, we've arranged to have Battlefront supply us with prizes for the overall winners of the tournament series in December, which we'll get more details on as the year progresses. Additonally, GF9 will be supplying us with custom plaques for the overall winners.

I'll be at Endgame tomorrow to play Battletech if anyone wants to chat about the circuit or FOW in general.

This looks fantastic!  I was explaining it to my wife at dinner last night.  She said "It sounds cool.  You should do all of them."

I don't know what I did to earn that, but I'll take it!!

I'm pledging a French Motorcycle Company for the Early War game in November.  That should give me time to muddle through the construction…  See you on the 22nd!

That is AWESOME!  I'll see you on Saturday.
