How about Mordheim?

Moved to the bay area about 6 months ago.  I am looking for people who play Mordheim, and may want to start a campaign/tournament.  Just wanted to see if there was enough interest for that.  I realize there might be people who play regularly, who don't post on the forum, so if there is someone who has their finger on the pulse of the amount of interest, I would appreciate any info.

Contact Lance Davenport and "Nessie" on these boards — two of Mordheim's finest gangsters… There is some AMAZING terrain that they have built that make for terrific tables.

I'm up for some Mordheim! Also Nessie/Donald is interested. The two of us have been painting up new warbands recently. An impending start date would lite a fire under our brushes :) Yes we have enough terrain for 3 solid boards or 4-5 lighter boards. Also Anthony recent expressed an interest in a summer campaign.

I'd actually love to play in a Mordenheim campaign, but there aren't any rules for using Hobgoblins in the system. I've got a nice big batch of those guys I made up to play with too. :(

Would this campaign be formal or informal?  Official or unnofficial?

I guess I am asking, should I make up a flyer, set some dates, set out rules, try to generate more additional players, or should this just be some pick-up games every once and a while?

I think you should meet or PM Lance. He organized all of our past campaigns and I think you two might have some great ideas.

To answer your question, we have had campaigns with both unofficial and official warbands. They were both fun but there were some over powering issues with the unofficial lists. EX. Black Orcs, Dark Elves, etc.

And once again, the damned city of Mordheim is alive with adventurers seeking the elusive wyrdstone… Cool

Los Ogros (translation, the ogres) are currently being built and prepared for battle.  These nasty brutes look forward to the upcoming campaign and have already sent their lookout gnoblar to the front lines for a bit of recon.  With full guts and weapons drawn nothing will stand in their way, unless they get hungry and have to stop off for a snack.

I look forward to my first campaign of Mordheim.  Thanks for setting it up.  Let me know when you think it might start as I am still building my force.

I'm glad to hear it Andrew. I can't wait to see what you've done with your ogres.

Concerning the campaign, I just sent Anthony PM regarding scheduling. Once I hear back from him I'll announce the start date.
