Hi all. I've been trying to get back into minature wargamming for a little while now. I haven't played much since high school (about 8 years ago). Back then I played a lot of GW (mostly 40k) and I think that's where I want to get started again.

I've visited Endgame a couple of times and I'd really like to start gaming regularly. Right now I've only got an older Warhammer Vampire Counts army. I'd like to start learning the new edition and start playing as soon as possible. If any of you guys have any suggestions on what I should do to start getting pluged into the Fantasy community, any help would be apprechiated!

Greetings and welcome back to the "plastic crack" world of GW!

40K is played primarily on Tuesday evenings and also on Saturdays. Some of the best Fantasy players in the country play every Thursday night at Endgame (that's not an exaggeration). The really cool thing about the Fantasy crowd is that they are really open to having new people come in — it's all about growing the game.

So, pick up the current Army Book/Codex for your armies and come on down!
