Hey,

I recently moved from Mountain View to Oakland, and suddenly found out that there was a game store a block from where I live!

I've played a lot of games over the years, including MtG, SW:CCG (not to be confused with SW:TCG), Warhammer (and a little 40k), Mordheim, D&D (all back to the red & blue book, AD&D, 3rd, 3.5 and a brief stint in 4th) and various other RPGs (like Vampire: The Masquerade). Avid video game player, and software engineer by trade.

I'm wondering about joining the games at Endgame, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I only played a couple of sessions of D&D 4th edition, and I haven't played anything else in years. Any advice?

In addition to pencil & paper RPGs, I'm interested in RPG-like boardgames, or table-top games like what Mordheim was – i.e. with progression. Any recommendations? Do people have game nights with any of these at Endgame?

On the event calendar, I see two games on Mondays. D&D with the RPGA, and PFS. What's the difference between these, and what does "RPGA" mean for a game?

Yeah, I figured it would be faster, and stopped by later that night.

I'll probably pop by next Monday or Wednesday for D&D. :)
