Hello everyone,
I have been patronizing Endgame of Oakland for years, though lately not as often as I would like, and am trying to use the forum as a way of keeping my foot in the gaming door. In the past year I quit my job and went back to school full-time, a risky decision, but I am in heaven. Most of my time during the year is spent either on school work or with my family. We home school our kids so there's a lot to be done but I try to be clever and, now that they are more coordinated, am introducing them to painting their own miniatures.
Needless to say I have no time for going out gaming very often which, again, is why I am excited about joining this forum. When I do have time I might have some contacts and places to go.
A little about me: I am very big into tabletop miniatures and even more so into the moding, sculpting and painting of them. You would think this is a good thing but it tends to slow my army production down a lot as I like to get very detailed with my painting and work.
As far as other games I mostly prefer strategy games such as Carcassone, Axis and Allies, Chess, GO, and many others. I have most of the games I own listed on my BoardGameGeek profile of the same name and e-mail.
I like to make my personal experience available to anyone so if you have questions when it comes to mods and painting contact me. I also love to brainstorm on ideas, the sharing of knowledge is core to my being. If you have any questions, suggestions or ideas feel free. I may not be able to respond immeditaely so be patient and I will reply.
I stripped and took apart all of my miniatures recently but here's a, and the only remaining, picture of anything I finished, a Kahdoran Kodiak from warmachine, it's also the first model I ever painted.
