Hi all. James in Oakland here. I've been playing text and 3D rpgs online for ages (I'm mid-40's now) and am interested in finally trying my hand at traditional old-school, high fantasy gaming. Pathfinder maybe..? Is it too late for me?! :-P

I've signed up for the newsletter and plan to stop into the store (just found it on the web), but am looking for suggestions on finding mature, newbie-friendly games. The rpg networking I've found on the web is geared towards experienced players.

Thanks in advance for any help.

There is an Endgame mini-con coming up on April 9th.  It would be a great opportunity to try three different RPGs over the course of an entire day.  It's also a great opportunity to network with folks and see if games are starting or needing players.

Chapter Master, Ordo Pacificus chapter, 40K Fight Club

Thanks Adan. The mini-con sounds like a great idea. I'll check it out.
