So before the forums got taken down and redone, I had noticed a few posts about some Shadowrun games.

Are those people that were interested in it still around?   I've always wanted to play this game (got the old sega gensis game) and have never found anyone try it with.

Please let me know if there are any of you out there.  I'd love to learn and play this game in a PnP setting.

We did actually get three players and myself as gamemaster together and had one game.  But when two had to drop out we had to cancel any further games.

Well, you could add me to the group if its still floating out there and your looking for more people.

I'd have to buy the rule book and learn, but im more then willing to do that.

Actually my housemate and I would be interested in getting a group together and playing. We're extremely experienced.  

I wasn't interested in the previous game because the schedule was lacking. I think it was biweekly and during a weekday or something.

I'd only do weekly, on a weekend afternoon.

I'd love to play, but I guess I feel a little burned by the last attempt, and I may be starting a job soon.  So I can't do the work again to be GM.  If someone else can GM, I'm in as a player.

Great, it sounds like this will actually happen.    Now I need to go and get and learn the game.   

Could anyone tell me what i'll need?   I figure the core rule book and some dice?   Is there anything else i'll need as a beginning player?

Also, what verison should i be getting?

Yes it will.  I would read through the entire rules at least once. You'll need ten D6's or more which I can provide if necessary. 

My place in San Leandro, Saturday Feb. 6th noon till like 6 or 7.  

4th edition with some minor house rules. 

We've got four players and a GM, with the potential of more players in a couple weeks.

That being said we're still open for a couple more players if anyone wants to still jump in.  

PM me with an email I can reach you guys at since I want to start emailing the group all at the same time.

sounds good.  I got the rule book and i'll reading it this week.   Next week should be fine. i dont see any problems with it.

Hey all,

Is this game still going? And are you looking for another potential player? I was in Dave's game until it ended, and I'd be interested in playing again.

Ya, we are still playing.

I think we are that is atleast.   We didn't play last week on account of starting a Rifts game, and im not sure if we are playing this week either.

But i know the game isn't over with yet.   So let me get back to you soon when i find out more.

Yes we're still playing and could use a couple more players.

We play Sundays from noon to whenever, usually 8ish at my house in San Leandro. Things are going quite well. We're about to do some published stuff at the moment, Supernova and also Dawn of the artifacts.

Not bad. We took a short break recently. One for health reasons (had the flu), one because he apparently was invitied to every June/July wedding in the bay area. But we're about to resume again.
