I thought I'd share what I'm currently building.

Snagged a box of Space Wolf Terminators after I built a box of standard Terminators w/ Terminator Chaplain for a client, decided to do some simple cuts and try this "True Scale" Space Marine hoopla that's been running rampant on the intertubes. With enough polystyrene, pro-sculpt and a yet to be determined amount of "green stuff" I should be done with this project. So far it's looking pretty neat.

I'm honestly probably going to sell/trade these ( If anyone I know is interested in these, EG store credit will suffice – hopefully the powers that be don't mind )

Though as for another personal project ( more like a story made physical ), just for those that don't know I jump between three 40k armies, ( Imperial Guard – Catachan themed) Operation GrimGor , ( Orks – Deff Skull/Goff theme ) Waaagh GrimGor and ( Space Marines ) Blood Angel Dropsite Massacre with Legion of the Damned.

Through luck, deception and strong arm tactics I was able to snag enough Blood Angel terminators ( thirty four / two sets of Space Hulk along with two sets of plastic terminators and a metal chaplain ) to go about with my plans.

I'm also giving them seperate bases from the standard 40mm bases so they can be used in Space Hulk, hence the irregular polystyrene plate beneath them. So far, all of the models have been sculpted/cut/angled differently in some manner so as to make them somewhat unique. Though a set of the Space Hulk terminators were assembled stock as I thought they looked pretty neat.

There are still a lot of Terminators in the works, I'll post them up once I can. Also have the Legion of the Damned, Orks and IG to show in addition to a dozen or so side projects for other people.

At least it keeps me busy.

I'm not familiar with the "true scale" SM hoopla – but those models look SWEET. Are those 40mm bases?

True Scale is making Marines the "right" size in comparison with an Imperial Guardsman. Making them look like actual eight foot tall badasses of the imperium.

Great job Nick! Look forward to seeing them in person sometime.

Erch, the Dark Age helmets combined with current MK armor is a pretty sweet combo.

Aye aye Finn, those are 40mm bases.

Yeps, Chris got it right. Making marines the "right" size.

The idea is to "one up" everything in the SM build , Scouts become less armored standard marines, Marines become Terminators and Terminators become ( up to which site you visit and how much "RAEG" the people can contain, they're either amped up standard terminators or a whole new conglomeration made upon custom 50mm bases.)

Rhinos are turned into Landspeeders, Landraiders are turned into Rhinos/Razorbacks and IG Baneblades are turned into Land Raiders.

Fundamentally it makes Marines cohesive with their background of being 7 – 8 foot tall genetic killing machines. There are even rules out there that change the dynamics of 40k into something a whole more tactical than its current incarnation. Think Space Grunt meets 2nd Ed 40k. It's generally played on a smaller scale, 500 pts = 1000 pts / 1000 pts = 1500 pts / etc.

Though thank you for the kind words, these projects just keep me busy and generally fund my hobby.
