My initial goal was to magnetize the kit to make it swappable between the Deathstrike and the Manticore, but that was going to turn out a lot more difficult than I first anticipated, so I just built it as a Deathstrike. I picked up the model late Friday after work and finished it on Sunday. Overall, I was pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Sweet model! I like the track weathering and the detail. If anything, I'd suggest that the rest of the tank is a bit too clean, given the paint chips and the track mud. That's a minor quibble though – very nicely done.

That's a cool model! To make it look a little less clean like Finn suggested, what I do for my orks is, I found that it looks pretty good when you paint all the bolts a metalic color so that way it looks like the paint has been worn off the bolts and the edges, which is the look I think you were going for. But I am not by any means an expert painter (far from it probably lol) so take my advice with a grain of salt. Also, It might look really neat if you put some numbers or decals on the warhead. By the way, what color did you use for the main chasis of the tank? I have a similar model that I have converted into my battlewagon and I was considering painting it so that it looked like someone just took an Imperial chasis and built ork stuff on it.

I used Rustoleum Camo Green as my primer … which is also the color of the hull. It's edged with VMC WWII Russian Uniform (hard to see)
