OK, so the regular painting event is now official. Please use this (pinned) thread for discussion of how you'd like to format the event and what topics you might be interested in covering.

Rad.  I don't have anything primed right now that I particularly want to paint, but I may come by if I can get out of work anyway.

Scratch that, I will likely be there.  Now to find something to paint!

Daaaaaaaaammmnnn, I just saw this and can't make it up there until around your quitting time.  Damn damn damn.  It looks like the next workshop is Sunday, Feb 7th, which is the weekend Robin (the lady) is taking me to Vegas for my birthday, so I'll drop by on Feb 21st (birthday!) for sure.  Should have plenty of models built by then :D

Nice meeting you, Michael!

I'm gonna work on my edging in the interim weeks and hopefully have more stuff primed for next time 'round.

I showed up on Sunday at 11, but got kicked off the painting table by an AD&D game.  I guess I should have asked what time you start.  Is it going to be every Sunday at a specific time?

As stated in both the announcement and the calendar, the official event is every other Sunday from 1-4 pm. We'll make space available on "off-Sundays" but I won't be around upstairs.

My bad – I was just looking at the forum.  Didn't realize you had an annoucement on the Endgame site.

Without knowing what was being played that Sunday on that table, I want to mention that the RPGA and Pathfinder organized-play groups don't have any requests  beyond seating 6.  With guidance by whoever is working there, I am sure d&d players could pair another set of tables so not to lock up the painting table (one by the glass mini cases I assume).  Sunday is sort of a bonus day for d&d since Endgame is nice enough to provide an official night already for RPGA, so I don't want the RPGA group to interfer with the other activities and other games.

I'll email the endgame_judges mailing list reminding everyone of the new calendar item about painting days.

OK, let me be very clear about this: "painting table" on one day may well be the same as "Pathfinder table" on another day. We have a lot of space upstairs, and our usage changes according to our events. Please do not get attached to any one furniture item. If we put a Pathfinder game in a particular spot, it's because that's where WE want it to run.

Frankly, I am getting tired of how territorial people have become about the space upstairs. You would all do well to remember that it's EndGame's space; we pay attention to where people play; we organize our events deliberately; and if you come in with an expectation but are met with a different reality, you need to revise your expectation.

Morgan, you don't need to email anyone. If you already have, please put out a followup that it's a false alarm and you all should continue as you were.

Dudes, are we painting tomorrow?  Showed up for the last one, but I guess Finn was snowbound or something.  Ready to get this undead party started.

D'oh, didn't see your post until just now. Yesterday was in fact a non-snowbound paint day – next one is the 21st.
