This is a thread to discuss WotC's Lair Assault scenario.
These are currently running on Wednesday nights after Encounters (around 8:15-8:30 start time). Additional sessions could be set up at any time (depending on the availability of DMs).
This is not part of regular LFR or Encounters sessions.
Character Creation Rules:
- 5th level characters per core rules on creating high level characters (i.e. one 6th level item, one 5th level item, one 4th level item and 840gp that can be spent on magic or mundane equipment).
- Only one rare item
- Only two consumable items
- You can use any player resource, including themes and backgrounds.

So after the last session, people were talking about creating an adventuring party consisting entirely of one character race. Someone suggest Tieflings.

I'll be running the new Lair Assault: Talon of Umberlee. We don't have the product yet, I'll post dates once we do.

The new adventure is for level 8 characters. The rules for equipping
the PCs follow the same guidelines from the DMG as the previous Lair
Assault. You get one item level 9 or lower, one item level 8 or lower,
one item level 7 or lower and 2,600 gp to spend as you see fit. You can
still only have a maximum of two consumables (level 8 or lower) and only
one item you possess can be rare.
This time around rituals are allowed. Before play begins you can
perform rituals of level 8 or lower at no cost. You still need to have
the appropriate feats and make successful checks but the cost for
components is covered by your patron.
