Greetings to all attendees of RPGA night at Endgame!
Our community of gamers in Living Forgotten Realms has a problem, and that problem is a shortage of judges that sign up in advance. Since we do not have dedicated or paid DMs, everyone relies on volunteer effort to learn and run the adventures.
What we need is for everyone to sign up to judge one game for each four they play. This is less than once a month, for the regular attendees.
Anyone who has played a character for the first few levels has seen the basics of how the miniature portion of the game works. And in that same time they can learn how the social aspect and the skill challenges work. The modules are written in a fairly straight-forward manner, so anyone can pick one up to read and prepare. By preparing in advance, a new DM will find running a module to be not that difficult.
Some people might say they prefer to play rather than judge. They should think of this act of judging as community service. None of us are consumers buying a product, other than space at Endgame. Instead we are part of a community, and everyone needs to do their part to make the LFR community successful.
Please consider your play history and whether it is time to support the Endgame RPGA by signing up to judge. The schedule has been extended through August 2nd.
Thank you.
