Who's going? More importantly (for me at least) is who is planning on getting a room at the hotel and would be willing to split the room up? I think they are offering a rate of $115/night and if anyone else is staying there and is willing to split a room, I'd rather do that than try and commute or pay for one by myself. I am not sure how many people we can have split the room, but I'm just gonna throw it out there that I'd be willing to sleep in a sleeping bag on an air mattress (I'd actually prefer it because I have bad allergies).

Well damn. Looks like no one really wants to stay there, which means that I have to figure something out then I guess because I'm not about to buy a room for myself…

Andrew, have you figured out what you're doing about your silly Washington thing? If you drive you basically are not going to be able to do anything at the Con anyway because it will take you way to long to drive back. Even if you leave at like 5 on friday night you probably wont get back here until 7am Saturday morning if it takes the 14 hours you said it would.

Zach, when will you know if you will be in town or not?

Josh, So if they are both on the same day, which I guess they are, are you not going to want to stay the night at all anymore either?

I guess another option would be to get a ride down there with someone. Is anyone driving down early enough to get there for the 40k tourney on saturday morning? I'm not too worried about getting back or about sunday, they have shuttles that go to BART and stuff, I just dont want to get up at 5am to get to a tourney that starts at 8 and then try and play games all day. Sounds like more work and trouble than it's worth. Sunday there is no rush for me to get there, I think the earliest thing I want to do starts at noon. I just wont be able to do the fleamarket thing on friday or monday which is a bummer.

Anyway, let me know, because I'm not sure if the rate they are offering is good for a long ass time or not.
