I had a great game today with Anton at EndGame.  We played a 3500 point Apoc game between his Tau and my Tyranids.

We knew this would be a pretty hairy matchup that could go either way, as our forces were both ill-suited for dealing with the hammers being brought by the other.  Anton had the Tau air force, something I had virtually no way to shoot down, and I had a herd of large monsters that are immune to instant death.

My MVP of the game was a dakkafex that shot down his tigershark.  However, he may have to be disqualified, as looking at the pictures, I’m not sure he was close enough to have shot the bird from the sky.

This was a fun small Apoc game and Anton is a great opponent to face off against; I look forward to the next matchup.  I sense a grudge may have commenced….

Thanks for the game Anton!! And thanks for your patience while I worked on figuring out my new camera.

And I apologize to the peanut gallery as well, some of the pictures may seem redundant, but I was testing out different focus modes of the camera.

I was reading through the 'nid codex and found the fluff section where they described the first encounter with the Tau…pretty cool stuff.

It got me spinning ideas around in my head for a Tau-Nid mini campaign…could be fun!

I also figured out I need to be reviewing that codex more before I use it…I was underpowering my devourers because I was remembering the last version of the 'dex stat line.  Oops.
