Here are the plans for Winter/Early 2012 events at Endgame:

Longest Nights: The Witchfire Ascendent (TBD – January)

Domination Book Release (after Longest Night – February most likely)

Shattered Grounds 2012 (TBD – started in February last year)

Also we have the Bay Area Open on March 2nd-4th which will have 3 steamroller torunaments over the 3 days…one 35pt Tier, 50pt standard and 35pt standard. Like last year, there will be a min. paint requirement and timed turn limits for all the tournaments. So do people want me to try run some prep events gearing up for BOA? Would people want to do a Steamroller tournament in prep for the BAO or would people prefer a Paint & Play slow-grow league to build up toward a viable force for the tournament? (or maybe both?). So give me your input and I'll try to make it happen!

I would really like to do 3 SR tournaments if possible, for all three BAO events + to get used to the SR2012 rules.  Maybe one in January, two in Febrauary?  Might be too much, but I would at least like one 50pt SR tournament.

Same as Elliott; the more SR events the better (especially since SR2012 is rumored to be pretty oddball). I don't have any particular preference if we have to cut tourneys, I'll play anything.

I've checked out the beta rules and they've add a few new rules. A few changes include (mind you this is still beta):

  • FA:C limited to one of two list for a standard tournament
  • Kill Box is no longer a standard missiong but  a "complication" that is added to several scenarios.
  • A new deployments was added along with a reserve "complication" added for several missions.
  • Various objecives have their own rules (e.g. explosive cache, guidion barrers, etc)
  • 7"/10" deployment zones

I'll see about getting together a tournament or two. This is dependent on how many particpants for such a thing…a minimum of 4 players would be needed to make a tournament work.

I love the idea of a bunch of events, timing is crucial for me as I can realistically only do 1-2 full day events per month including other game systems.

I could possibly run a 25-35pt steamroller on a Wednesday evening provided that we have people willing to stick things out until ~ 12midnight. A 35 pt steamroller is 49-91 minutes long per game so if we did a small tournament (<8 people) starting at 7 pm (with the tables setup beforehand), the tournament would wrap up around by midnight. Who would be interested in this (and able to stick it out)?

I'm game. I might be able to lend a hand setting up depending on how soon I can get off work.

I can't help set up due to work, but I could get there right at 7pm and staying til midnight is fine.

I can probably do one of these, just have to trade nights with Stephanie. Though itsn't that a bit late for the EG guys to be at the store?

Wednesday night usually runs late with the board games. I would definitely check with Chris R. beforehand to make sure its cool

Most likely I could stick it out… (have a feeling I wouldn't be in last rounds anyhow embarassed).

Getting there early to help out would just depend on work, but with notice, I could block off my schedule.
