Pokemon Go has swept the world and motivated hundreds of thousands of up-and-coming Pokemon masters to get out, talk to new people, and make friends. On Sunday, July 31st from 12:30 to 3:30, let's put that power to good use!
A member of EndGame's community has decided to hold a Pokemon-themed toy and supply drive for the UCSF Benioff Oakland Children's Hospital. As a gaming and Oakland-based community, we can harness the Pokemon Go phenomenon to improve the lives of children who rely on the Oakland Children's Hospital.
The event will start at 12:30 in the afternoon on Sunday, July 31st, and run till about 3:30. All you need to do is show up and drop off anything on this wish list and make sure it follows these rules. Stop by any time between 12:30 and 3:30, hang out, catch Pokemon, and donate for charity!
The headquarters for the event will be our store, while the pokestops on the surrounding blocks will consistently have lures on them for all three hours of the event. While you're walking, there are great places to eat and drink nearby including our very own Endgame Cafe.
There will be a raffle for fun prizes (some pokemon themed and some not). Each item donation will get you 1 raffle ticket with a maximum of 2 raffle tickets per person for the event. Keep in mind that this is subject to change based on how the whole affair is received.
We hope that whether you're on team Mystic, Valor, or Instinct, we can unite as Pokemon trainers to bring some cheer to those in need. Remember: anything from that list is appreciated!
It would also be a major help if you have something that you'd be willing to donate for the raffle, or anything for the event itself. If so, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
