Speaking of the Cafè, we are introducing our new Commuter Happy Hour! Running from Monday to Friday, 2PM to 4PM, come on down after work for a discount on our Conscientious Objector coffee. It’s great transit fuel!
Conscientious Objector is a delicious blend of Ethiopian, Colombian, and Guatemalan coffees. All certified organic, these coffees combine into a smooth coffee with hints of sweetness and chocolate!
We also have two quality single origin coffees. Our two featured coffees for this week are the longtime favorite Ethiopian Gersi and the Guatemalan La Felicidad. Available by the pound or as a pour over.
La Felicidad – $17.50 a pound:
With notes of zesty fruit and a clean finish, this single origin is deliciously balanced. La Felicidad is sourced from a family owned farm located near the city of Antigua. La Felicidad is a thirty five acre farm owned by Elena Aguirre de Asensio and managed by Luis Pedro Zelaya, a fourth generation coffee farmer.
With over 100 years of family knowledge and a formal education in agronomy, Luis Pedro has the unique ability to bring tradition and innovation together to produce a stellar coffee. In the same way we were struck by the quality of our recent Asensio lot, LaFelicidad stood out on our cupping table and we're proud to offer it.
Gersi Ethiopian – $17.00
Sourced from family owned farms organized around the Sangage Agro mill in the town of Gersi Kebele (Yirgacheffe district) from indigenous heirloom cultivars.
Fully washed then dried on raised beds, this perfumy and syrupy cup is also clean with ripe stonefruit sweetness.
That’s all for now, hope to see you this weekend!
